Barrigada/Barrigada Heights (bare-ee-ga-duh):

Located in the central part of island, the village of Barrigada/Barrigada Heights is home to the Department of Revenue and Taxation (including motor vehicles), the Navy Golf Course, is minutes from the Guam International Airport, 10 minutes to the Micronesian Mall (one of Guam’s three major enclosed malls), 10 minutes to the Agana Shopping Center (another one of the three major malls on Guam), and 15 minutes to the Guam Premium Outlet (the third major mall on Guam). Barrigada Village consists of older single-family homes, while Barrigada Heights is one of Guam’s executive neighborhoods with both old and new single-family construction. Many of the homes here are large and have fantastic ocean views as well as views of the airport. The population of this village is approximately 9,000.
